The Lamp “Edison“ – the tamed light
The core idea of the creation of this lamp is to show the symbolism of a process of light taming or its conquest.
Thomas Edison was one of the first inventors who ‘tamed’ a light and created a practical electric light bulb. So I named the lamp in honor of Thomas.
If we use the electric light bulb it takes us into the time of discoverers of light and the light draws weird lines. And using the energy saving lamp gives us the light dim and scattering without strict lines and forms.
Generally the Lamp “Edison” doesn’t look like from modern age, on the contrary it reveals the era of steam engines and mechanical devices of the late 18th early 19th centuries.
